So... I decided after doing a whole ton of fanart, I wanted to try to do some original work and do some OC's. Well. First thing came to mind was to draw a Qilin! I got this Dracopedia drawing book from Borders when it was going out and saw Qilin and I definitely wanted to draw it. If you notice from the Wiki link, my Qilin looks different from the statue...

Personally, I'm not too fond of the Chinese image of Qilin.. So I went ahead to make my own version. The pose was a mix of the book's image pose and also different deer/horse images I looked up on google... XD This will be my template Qilin for many drawings... Soooo.. XD Just another thing I had to add to my growing list of backed-up projects I need to finish... >.<

edit: I did finish digitally inking this.. But I'm a bit lazy right now and gonna wait to post a fully colored version.. XD Sorry guys. XD
